Privacy Policy

Shoot Ready (“the app”) is built by Keys Media Studio. We store only what we need to make the app work — your account, your gear, your shoots, and your kits. We don't sell your data. We don't track you across other apps or websites. You can delete your account and all your data at any time from inside the app.

Keys Media Studio is the data controller for the information you provide when using Shoot Ready. You can reach us at support@shootready.app.

The information we store falls into these categories:

• Account info — your name, email address, and a hashed password (we never see your raw password). Stored when you sign up.
• Shoot data — the shoots you create, their titles, addresses, scheduled times, lockbox codes, and notes.
• Gear data — the items you add to your gear list, their categories, quantities, and any photos you choose to attach.
• Kit data — the saved kit templates you build for your shoots.
• Checklist progress — which gear items you've verified for an upcoming shoot, and any photos/scans you've captured against them.
• Google Calendar tokens — only if you connect your Google Calendar. We store an OAuth refresh token so we can read your upcoming events. We do not write to your calendar.

• We do not collect location data.
• We do not collect contacts, photos library, or messages.
• We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers.
• We do not access your microphone or camera except when you explicitly tap a button to take a photo or scan a code inside the app.

• To provide the core app functionality (creating shoots, gear checklists, kits, returns tracking).
• To authenticate you when you sign in and keep your data isolated from other users.
• To sync your data across the devices where you're signed in.
• To process your AI-assisted gear inputs (see “Third parties” below).

We use the following service providers to run the app:

• Supabase — stores your account, shoots, gear, kits, and checklist data in a managed Postgres database. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — hosts the app and may collect basic request logs for security and performance. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic — when you describe your gear in natural language during onboarding, we send that text to Anthropic's Claude API to parse it into structured gear entries. We do not send your account info, shoot details, or other personal data. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Google — if you connect Google Calendar, we store an OAuth token issued by Google and use Google's Calendar API to read your events. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Your data is stored in Supabase and Vercel data centers, primarily in the United States. By using the app you consent to your data being processed there.

We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account from inside the app, we permanently delete your shoots, gear, kits, checklist progress, and Google Calendar tokens within 30 days. Backups holding deleted data are rotated out within 90 days.

You can, at any time:

• View, edit, or delete any individual shoot, gear item, or kit from inside the app.
• Disconnect your Google Calendar from the app (which revokes our access token).
• Delete your entire account and all associated data from inside the app via the “Delete my account” option in settings.
• Email support@shootready.app for any other privacy request, including a copy of all data we hold about you.

Shoot Ready is intended for adults and not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, encryption at rest in our database provider). No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll notify you by email or in-app.
